  2. The City of Romea and Julie. In Venice, traffic is carried by ships, boats and gondolas. The largest canal is the Grande Canal, which runs through the middle of the city, and it houses the Ponte Rialto, the bridge that forms the most important junction of two large parts of the city. In the center of the city is Markov Square with the old church of Sv. Stamps and with the magnificent Doge’s Palace. Venice is a 3600m long bridge connected to the mainland, where the great suburbs of Mestre and Margera developed. Venice is visited annually by millions of tourists. It hosts a film festival every year and is also known for producing glass, lace, gold, silver and leather items. Thanks for the great post.
